Memebox ColorBox #5 Jewel Tones

This box's contents:
1) Color World Multi Lovely Finger Mousse Lip 704 So Hot Pink - Full size product ($20)

2) Color World Star Powder - 10g/ Full size product ($14)
3) Color World Kiss The Beads Lip Gloss - 13 ml/ Full size product ($18)
4) Color World Jewelish Stick Shadow 09 Crystal Silver - 10g/ Full size product ($13)

This is my second ColorBox and honestly I am a little disappointed with them. Both the ColorBox Pastel Hues and this one came with only 4 items and each box solely from a single brand. Although, given that these boxes cost only $15, I guess I shouldn't have too high of expectations.

1) Color World Multi Lovely Finger Mousse Lip 704 So Hot Pink - Full size product ($20)

This formula truly has a mousse-like texture which is kind of unusual for a lip product. It slides very smoothly on the lips leaving a natural stain which is also buildable. I blended a thin layer and my lips looked as if they were naturally pigmented. I love it!

Product Description:
This lip mousse is a combination of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip tint. It glides onto lips with a rich pigment payoff and a smooth, non-sticky finish.
How to use:
Use provided brush tip to apply the formula over lips. Blend it in for a natural gradient or fill it in all the way for a full lip.

2) Color World Star Powder - 10g/ Full size product ($14)
Randomly selected from 01 White, 05 Violet, 06 White Green.

Color World Star Powder in 01 White.

I like how pigmented this eye shadow is, although the packaging is really messy and the product can be easily spilled all over the place. You just gotta be extra careful when using this.

Product Description:
Designed with the perfect mix of glitter and shine, Star Powder in Sparkle White creates a dramatic light-catching effect and brings instant sophistication to any makeup look. It coats over skin for a velvety smooth texture, sparkling with glowing elegance. Use it as highlight, an eye shadow or a facial & body glitter powder.
How to use:
Carefully open lid. Set the lid on a steady surface, and tap out the powder onto the open lid. Use your finger, or an eye shadow brush to spread the powder across your lids.

3) Color World Kiss The Beads Lip Gloss - 13 ml/ Full size product ($18)
Randomly selected from 02 Red Gemstone, 03 Red Gemstone

Color World Kiss the Beads Lip Gloss in 02 Red Gemstone.

I found it interesting how both shades that Memebox offers from this product are called 'Red Gemstone', but that might just be a typo. The one I received clearly states 02 on it. This lip gloss has a strawberry scent and even though fine glitters can be seen on the swatch, once the product is applied on the lips the glitters were no longer detectable. This definitely is a super wearable color.

Product Description:
A classic lip gloss that gives an intense shine and moisture from a blend of ceramide, natural essential oil, coenzyme Q10, and squalene. Despite its glossy visual, it's non-sticky, long-lasting, and lightweight.
How to use:
Use provided brush tip to apply the formula over lips. Blend it in for a natural gradient or fill it in all the way for a full lip.

4) Color World Jewelish Stick Shadow 09 Crystal Silver - 10g/ Full size product ($13)

This type of eyeshadow sticks are excellent for the inner corners of the eyes. You apply a little bit and just blend it out with your fingers. Super easy!

Product Description:
Color World's Jewelish Stick Shadow features beautiful shades with a creamy formula to provide an endless spectrum for creating flawless bold eye makeup. Each convenient stick is long-wearing, transfer-proof, and crease-resistant. The color glides smoothly onto lids and blends easily for a rich pigment payoff.
How to use:
Apply directly to eyelids and blend it in for a desired intensity.

I don't understand why Memebox curated a box with products from a single brand when they already offer those one brand only cosmetic sets. What do you guys prefer? A variety of brands in a box or items from a single brand only?
